Young Ridge Vineyards & Winery was established in 1992 by Leroy and Patty Young, with the goal of producing a small quantity of excellent wine from their own grapes. Their estate sits high on a ridge in the rolling western hill of Napa Valley, with views overlooking the town of Napa and beyond. Young Ridge Estate is surrounded by two vineyard blocks of Cabernet Sauvignon. One block is called Patty’s block 1A and the other block is call Jessica’s block 2B, which combined is only one source of their limited premium estate grapes. The second source comes from the production and winery facilities located on their 99-acre vineyard in Pope Valley. The Pope Valley vineyard consists of mostly Cabernet Sauvignon, but has some Petite Verdot, Malbec, and Zinfandel. The young family is committed to using their premium grapes to produce some of Napa Valley’s finest premium wines.
